General terms of business Our service and finish to every job is key to our business, we aim to maintain high standards on all jobs.
To try and keep things simple we have a set way of working on most jobs, where possible this is our preffered terms of business which helps us to ensure our services are prompt and cost effective.
We will make a site visit and discuss the work required and the materials you want us to use. Our pricing will be based on this information and we will supply you with a written or verbal quote depending on your preference.
Once a design and price have been agreed, we will ask for a deposit for the job, which we are happy to discuss on a job to job basis. This really helps with our cashflow and helps to keep the costs as flexible as possible. Once this has been paid we will then order materials and book the job into our schedule for an agreed time.
We work to a standard that requires us to sometimes start early to make the most of the daylight and weather. Should the weather not be suitable for us to work, we will call and advise of an alternative time. We work on one job at a time and so wont be leaving site to view or carry out work elsewhere. You are our customer and our attentions are on your job at all times until completion. This is why we work on a waiting list setup, and have work lined up in general for weeks in advance.
On completion of the work and when you are happy we will ask for the final payment to be made. From this point our personal guarantee will become effective and we will be happy to repair or replace faulty materials or workmanship free of charge. (see below)
'like for like' quotations
We are confident that we can match or beat any 'like for like' written quotations from another reputable company. By this we mean the competitors quote must be a written quotation and must be on headed note paper and come from a VAT registered and legitimate trading company with a landline telephone number.
The quote must also outline the materials that are suggested to be used and the manufacturer of these so that our 'like for like' quote can be exactly that. If this is not outlined in detail or they are using inferior products then essentially we are not quoting on the same job. We would ask that when comparing our prices with any others that this is taken into consideration and discussed with us.
If for some reason we still can't match or beat the 'competition' then we would advise you to be cautious as it is fairly common for costs to be cut on the underlying preparation work which can cause problems in the future with surfaces sinking or cracking. This is something we won't compromise on and so our bottom line is exactly that, we would rather walk away from a job than supply a sub standard one.

Our products and services we believe to be second to none in our chosen field of business. We use high quality materials and always prepare the underlying ground for any job to the correct depths and use the right type of base materials. Because of this and the personal knowledge that goes into each and every job we are happy that our products will last for long periods of time as you would expect.
Our guarantee covers bad workmanship or faulty or sub standard quality of materials, and should you have a problem with our services or products we will be happy to come and take a look. We will repair or replace where required should the problem be due to poor workmanship or materials. General wear and tear cannot be covered or damage caused by vehicles or spilages.
